General Description
With digital publishing's award-winning courseware CLT (Corporate Language Training), you can learn German on your own. You'll receive tutoring by email from a native-speaking language trainer along the way. The course CLT Plus is appropriate for learners with little or no former knowledge. This is aligned with the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR) level, A1. To ensure that level A1 really is the appropriate one, it's best to take the online placement test. If the result shows that you are already ready for level A2 or higher, you will automatically be assigned to the correct course level. After you have completed the placement test, you will receive a course kick-off over the phone from a digital publishing trainer. Once you have completed the course, there will be an online final exam. A CLT certificate in PDF form will then be issued. You will see a detailed description of the course as a PDF document under "Further Information". You will also find a comprehensive video, showing you how the course works, the course structure, as well as the various functions and features of your CLT course, using the English course as an example.
Course Variations
The CLT German A1 level course is only available in the variant Plus. This means that mentoring takes place exclusively via e-mail. For advanced courses in the variations Live and Phone, please click here.
